An endeavour to satisfy each and every one of our customers' needs.

KAMAL TEC, LDA. is committed to offering the best experience to its Customers. This extends to our support policy, which is centred on satisfying any and all of our Customers' needs. By purchasing an item from our Online Shop (www.kamaltec.shop) or from one of our retail outlets, the Customer is automatically covered by the Satisfaction Guarantee, under which they can exchange an item within the first 14 (fourteen) days if it does not meet their expectations.

 

1. Satisfaction Guarantee

1.1 The Kamal Tec guarantee

Without prejudice to the rights of return that may be granted to them under the terms set out below, Kamal Tec guarantees its Customers a period of 14 (fourteen) days to check that the item purchased meets their expectations. If, within this period, the Customer finds that the item purchased does not meet their expectations, they may request that it be exchanged for another item(s) sold by Kamal Tec. For the item to be exchanged, it must fulfil the conditions set out in point 3 (CONDITIONS OF THE ITEM TO BE EXCHANGED OR RETURNED) and be in the original condition in which it was sold to you by us. This guarantee and the right to exchange do not apply to any of the items listed in point 4 (ITEMS NOT SUBJECT TO EXCHANGE OR RETURN). 1.2 Starting the exchange process To start the exchange process, simply go to one of the Kamal Tec shops with the item and your invoice. If this is not possible, you should send us an e-mail or contact us via our online channel, and then send the item by courier to Kamal Tec's Central Warehouse, with the cost of sending the return being the customer's responsibility. Kamal Tec will analyse the condition of the item and reserves the right to reject the exchange, in which case it will contact the customer to collect it at its own expense. We may accept, on a case-by-case basis, the scheduling of collection and dispatch to the address indicated by the Customer, without prejudice to requiring the Customer to pay the necessary costs for such transport.

1.3 Refunds and exchanges for new items

If Kamal Tec determines that the item is suitable for exchange and within the respective period of 14 (fourteen) days, it will issue a credit note in favour of the Customer for the price of the exchanged product (amount shown on the respective invoice) or send other products of equal value of the Customer's choice. This credit note may be partially or fully discounted on new purchases from Kamal Tec, either in the Online Shop (at www.Kamaltec.shop) or directly in one of our sales centres, once it has been assigned to the Customer's account. The credit note is valid for 6 months.


1.4 Other rights

The Satisfaction Guarantee is granted under the exact conditions indicated above. Any rights of cancellation and return, in particular those provided for in point 2 (RETURNS FROM PURCHASES AT KAMALTEC.SHOP), are only applicable to consumers (natural persons who make the purchase outside the scope of a commercial, industrial, craft or professional activity or who, in relation to a mixed-use good, are found not to be the predominant commercial purpose in the overall context of the purchase contract). If the Customer does not qualify as a consumer (for example, if the purchase was made by a company), and outside the cases covered by the Satisfaction Guarantee, the assessment of any exchange/return request submitted by the Customer will be subject to Kamal Tec's assessment on a case-by-case basis and may be refused by Kamal Tec at its sole discretion.

2. Returning Purchases on Kamaltec.shop

2.1 What is the payback period?
Consumers can return purchases made on Kamaltec.shop within 14 days of delivery or collection of the product from the shop.

Purchases corresponding to products that have been reserved, including online, but only paid for when the consumer goes to the shop to collect them, are not considered eligible for return.

2.2 How is reimbursement made?
The consumer will always be reimbursed using the same payment method used for the purchase. In the event of a return, the refund will be made after validation of fulfilment of the return conditions described below.

2.3 Can any item be returned?
Any item can be returned by a consumer within the above-mentioned time limits, provided that

(i) It fulfils the conditions defined below in Point 3 (CONDITIONS OF THE ITEM TO BE EXCHANGED OR RETURNED); and (ii) It does not correspond to any of the items defined below in Point 5 (ITEMS NOT SUBJECT TO EXCHANGE OR RETURN).

Kamal Tec clarifies that, with regard to purchases made on Kamaltec.shop, the consumer has the right to inspect the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods with due care, but may be held liable for the depreciation of the goods if the handling carried out to inspect the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods exceeds the handling that is normally permitted in a commercial establishment.

In the event of a breach of any of these points, we reserve the right to refuse the return (and consequent refund) or exchange, or to pass on to the consumer the cost of the item's depreciation due to abusive inspection/handling, in which case we will deduct the amount to be refunded or credit the economic value of the item's depreciation for new exchanges.

2.4 How can I return an item bought at Kamaltec.shop?
To return an item purchased from Kamaltec.shop, the consumer can:

(i) Go to one of Kamal Tec's shops with the item and your invoice; or (ii) Contact us first and send the item to Kamal Tec's premises marked "Commercial Return" (Kamal Tec LDA - Rua Arco Marquês de Alegrete 6 loja G, 1100-034 Martim Moniz, Lisbon).

Kamal Tec will analyse the condition of the item and reserves the right to reject its return, in which case it will contact the customer to collect it at its own expense, and may charge the customer for the costs of collection by Kamal Tec. We may accept, on a case-by-case basis, the scheduling of shipping to the address indicated by the Customer, without prejudice to requiring the Customer to pay the costs necessary for such transport.

3. Conditions of the item to be exchanged or returned

Kamal Tec informs you that returned goods will only be accepted if they strictly comply with the following conditions:

(i) The returned item must be in the same condition in which it was sold, intact and without any signs of wear or damage;

(ii) The item must be returned together with the undamaged packaging, manuals and accessories;

(iii) The invoice for the item must be included with the returned item.

Remember: in order for the return or exchange to be compensated to the Customer through a refund or credit note, the product must be in a condition to be resold by Kamal Tec. When returning a product, make sure that it can be purchased by another customer. In this exercise, consider your own individual predisposition to buy the product you are returning, if you were interested in doing so.

4. Items not subject to exchange or return

Except for technical anomalies, there are items which, due to their nature (for reasons of hygiene, safety, risk of data transmission, manufacturer's recommendations, etc.), cannot be accepted for return/exchange. Without prejudice to the Customer's other rights, provided for herein or in the applicable legal regulations, exchanges or returns are not accepted for:

(i) Towels, consoles, headphones/earphones, batteries, memory cards, external drives, consumables or software;

(ii) Clothing, epilators, shavers and hair clippers, hoovers, assembled chairs, kitchen robots, food processors, scooters, bicycles, segways, televisions, laptops, mobile phones, smartphones, smartwatches or tablets that have broken brand packaging seals;

(iii) Any free articles

If any of these points are breached, we will not be able to accept the return/exchange (and the consequent refund or issue of a credit note).

5. Kamal Tec's advice and tips

Before making a purchase, the Customer should be as sure as possible that the product they are buying really does meet their expectations and that it will be in line with their interests and suitable for their intended use. The Internet is a powerful tool for providing information and clarifying doubts.

Therefore, without prejudice to the usefulness of the reflection period for the Customer, before finalising a purchase, Kamal Tec recommends that its Customers read and, if possible, comply with the following points:

(i) Make sure the product fulfils your needs.
(ii) Search for the product on search engines, watch videos of the product on YouTube or ask your questions via one of our contacts. Don't forget: the Internet is a powerful tool for information and clarifying doubts.
(iii) Check if you have friends, colleagues or family members who have the product you want to buy and, if so, see if you can get feedback.
(iv) If you are buying/collecting your equipment from a physical shop, ask the sales assistant any questions you may have.
(v) After purchasing the product, always take care to open the box/packaging and check how the equipment, accessories and manuals are arranged inside the box/packaging.
In the event of a return/exchange, the more you respect the conditions in which you return the product, the easier the task will be for all parties involved.
